direcXource's SFP-16G-EW optical transceiver is a dual fiber 14Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP+ module for use in 16G Fibre Channel Network. SFP+ 16G-EW provides 14Gb/s throughput up to 40km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1550nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and FCIA FC-PI-5 1600-SM-LC-V standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Duplex LC connector. The full-duplex SFP+ transceiver features highly reliable EML transmitter and PIN photo detector to offer high performance interconnection at 14 Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C). Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform identically to generic MSA transceivers.
