Fortinet FG-TRAN-QSFP+PLR Compatible 40GBASE-PSM4 QSFP+ 1310nm 10km SMF MTP/MPO-12 DOM Optical Transceiver Module


Fortinet FG-TRAN-QSFP+PLR compatible optical transceiver is a parallel 41.2Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable QSFP+ module for use in 40GBASE Ethernet. QSFP+ PSM4 provides 40Gb/s throughput up to 10km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1310nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3 40GBASE-PSM4 and XLPPI standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 38-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is MTP/MPO-12 APC connector. The full-duplex QSFP+ transceiver implements 4 independent 10.3125 Gbps transmit and receive channels in each fiber for an aggregate 40 Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C). Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform identically to original Fortinet FG-TRAN-QSFP+PLR transceivers.
