Cisco QSFP-H40G-CU3M compatible DAC is a passive 40Gbps QSFP+ to QSFP+ direct attach cable for use in 40GBASE Ethernet. QSFP+ DAC provides 40Gb/s throughput for 3m interconnection with high speed twin-axial copper cable. Standard length options cover from 0.5 meters to 7 meters. The QSFP+ DAC cable implements 4 independent 10 Gbps NRZ transmit and receive signal channels in each differential pair for an aggregate 40 Gbps data rate. This DAC is fully compliant with QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-CR4 and XLPPI standard. The twin-axial copper cable's wire gauge is 30AWG and pre-terminated with MSA compliant 38-pin edge type connectors. MSA memory map are accessible via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C). Our DACs are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform identically to original Cisco QSFP-H40G-CU3M direct attach cables.
