Cisco DS-SFP-FC4G-SW compatible optical transceiver is a dual fiber 4.25Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP module for use in 4G Fibre Channel Network. SFP 4G-SW provides 4Gb/s throughput up to 150 meters over OM2 multi-mode fiber (MMF) using 850nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and FCIA FC-PI-4 400-M5-SN-I standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Duplex LC connector. The full-duplex SFP transceiver features highly reliable VCSEL transmitter and PIN photo detector to offer high performance interconnection at 4 Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C). Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform identically to original Cisco DS-SFP-FC4G-SW transceivers.
