Cisco DS-SFP-FC-2G-SW Compatible 2G Fibre Channel SFP 850nm 300m MMF LC DOM Optical Transceiver Module


Cisco DS-SFP-FC-2G-SW compatible optical transceiver is a dual fiber 2.125Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP module for use in 2G Fibre Channel Network. SFP 2G-SW provides 2Gb/s throughput up to 300 meters over OM2 multi-mode fiber (MMF) using 850nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and FCIA FC-PI-4 200-M5-SN-I standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Duplex LC connector. The full-duplex SFP transceiver features highly reliable VCSEL transmitter and PIN photo detector to offer high performance interconnection at 2 Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C). Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform identically to original Cisco DS-SFP-FC-2G-SW transceivers.
